This home was built in the late 1800s which over time had become neglected and outdated. The floorplan posed many design challenges alongside the exterior and interior frames. Renovations began inside the cottage home with changes from the pre-existing laundry room into a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Expansion of the kitchen and living room walls allowed for more spacious living, and replacing worn down vinyl, laminate, and carpet floors into hardwood and porcelain tiles gave this home renovation a new contemporary feel.
