This late 1970’s condo in the North York area had never been renovated and the client wanted an urban look to her home. Working within a budget, we removed all the kitchen walls and the solarium sliding doors to create an open concept living space. The kitchen had a dropped ceiling with fluorescent tube lighting which we replaced with pot lights alongside a modern pendant light above the kitchen island. The condo was covered with ceramic and laminate flooring that was replaced to vinyl with an added sound barrier. We removed the corner jacuzzi in the bathroom and installed a stand shower with a rain head fixture for added comfort.
Clients’ testimonial:
Wow!…The end result was spectacular. I still pinch myself every time I walk into my new home. When choosing a contractor it was important for me to chose somebody with a design background. It was not a deal breaker but it definitely helps to have someone who can understand your vision. Always keeping me informed and up to speed on the progress of my project helped to take all the stress off of me. Mahnaz was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely be using her again in the future.
